Happy Thanksgiving! Today as you gather with friends and family, I want to remind you to reflect on your blessings. Remember that gratitude isn’t just a feeling—it’s a choice.
And don’t just reflect, share your gratitude with others. It’s easier to feel gratitude that it is to express it. Gratefulness unexpressed is actually an opportunity for others to feel ingratitude from us, even though inwardly we are grateful for them. So here are three ways to express your gratefulness today:
1. Say It.
Ask yourself, “who in my life needs to hear gratitude from me?”
2. Show It.
Ask yourself, “how can I can show gratitude to those around me today?”
3. Share It.
Ask yourself, “how can I use my influence to be a model of gratitude to those
around me?
Gratitude is powerful. Gratitude grounds us, grows us, and gives us greater joy in every
