Meet Brandon
Brandon Matthews is a keynote speaker, professional trainer, and founder of The Meaningful Marketplace. With over 20 years of experience in corporate communication, leadership, and personal development, Brandon helps organizations create workplace cultures where people feel valued, inspired, and engaged. His mission is simple: bring meaning back to the marketplace by prioritizing people over profits.
Brandon’s expertise spans leadership development, team coaching, and culture transformation across both corporate and nonprofit sectors. He has partnered with businesses of all sizes to improve communication, employee satisfaction, and mental wellness. His approach blends insight, humor, and practical tools that make a lasting impact on teams.
Brandon’s passion for customer experience began at age 16 during his first job as a cold-calling telemarketer. This experience helped him discover the power of connection with people and providing great service. This is something that still drives his work today.
He later founded an organization that plants thriving communities, endorses and equips leaders around the world, and runs local initiatives to improve lives. This includes his work in substance use prevention in partnership with the city of Alabaster, Alabama and CADCA.
Brandon speaks on topics including leadership, communication, customer service, workplace culture, mental health, and substance use prevention. With experience leading customer service teams at Apple, coaching executives, and growing organizations from the ground up, Brandon has delivered thousands of talks that inspire real change.
He lives in Birmingham, Alabama with his wife Jen, their son Asher, a French Bulldog named Chief, and way too many fish.

Meaningful
Leadership
Brandon’s approach differs from conventional workplace consulting by focusing on individual purpose rather than strictly improving productivity metrics. His leadership principles are grounded in the belief that successful organizations are built by leaders who care about their employees’ personal and professional growth. His work with companies involves a deep dive into their internal culture to understand the core challenges and how they can be overcome by creating a more meaningful workplace environment.
His presentations blend humor with deep insight, offering tools and strategies that are easy to apply but profoundly impactful. Companies that have worked with Brandon have reported significant improvements in employee satisfaction, workplace engagement, and overall morale.
