It’s no surprise that social media is a the gateway to connect, engage, and build customer base. Social media is the new word-of-mouth marketing. A simple Google search will reveal the impact of social media on spreading your message. The key, however, is knowing how to us it. Here are a few tips.
1. Quality Over Quantity
Ask yourself, if this were a post from someone else, would you open it? Your gut reaction is a good indicator for the quality of your post. Your audience wants to be engaged with your posts, not overwhelmed by it.
2. Make it Snazzy
Snazzy is such a fun word. With that being said, use fun words! Be creative. Make it fun, funny, and even a little quirky or offbeat. Take that one quality post and use captions that draw attention.
3. Be Strategic
There are optimal times for your posts to different social media outlets. People are engaging on the networks at different times. Learn them and make the most of them. Plan when you should post, and even schedule them when you are unable to do it manually.
Like or comment on Facebook. Retweet or favorite a followers tweet. People like to be acknowledged. Your interaction with them will only make them feel valuable and a part of your brand.
