Holidays are busy. We rush rush rush and then just like that, it’s over. Now it’s January and you have to find the strength for a “new year and a new you.” Do you ever find yourself just feeling tired?
Tom Rath wrote in the Wallstreet Journal that getting 4 hours less sleep a night is equal to drinking a 6 pack of beer impairment. Would you want your child’s bus driver, your surgeon or accountant, so tired they are impaired? Then how do we anticipate fulfilling our best unless we are rested?
So today I ask you the question, can you fulfill your life on purpose with impaired living? Get some rest. Put the phone down, turn off the tv, etc. Just rest.
